In need of help to move to a safer apartment

I just started a new job after being unemployed because of covid, I have a great new roommate, but our apartment no longer meets our needs. We have found a new apartment that is in our price range, however we are in need of the 1200 move in fees. The broker is being nice and gave us till the first to gather the money, but I haven't gotten my first paycheck yet and am terrified that we will lose the apartment.
