Hello friends and family,

This is one of the most humbling and difficult things I’ve ever had to do — but I’m learning that sometimes, God allows us to reach a place of vulnerability so others can help carry us through.

After working faithfully since the age of 16, I’ve now been unemployed for over 7½ months. I’ve applied to over 1,000 jobs, gone through hundreds of interviews, and have kept my faith and perseverance alive every single day — waiting for the Lord to open the right door.

During this time, I’ve used every resource available — my severance, savings, and 401(k) — just to stay afloat. But the bills haven’t stopped, and now I’ve reached a place where I’m completely financially drained. My mom has done everything she can to help, but she already bears the heavy financial responsibility of our household and my grandmother’s care. It’s simply not fair to ask more of her.

So today, with a humbled and sincere heart, I’m asking for help — something I never imagined I’d have to do.

If you are able to donate financially, please know that no amount is too small. Your support will go directly toward essential living expenses as I continue my job search. If you’re not in a position to give, I deeply appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and faith-filled words.

There’s nothing easy about this, but I trust that God will provide — and that He will use the kindness of others as part of His plan. I also want to be transparent in saying that as soon as I secure employment, I will close this GoFundMe immediately.

Esta es una de las cosas más difíciles y humildes que he tenido que hacer, pero estoy aprendiendo que a veces Dios permite que lleguemos a un punto de vulnerabilidad para que otros puedan ayudarnos a seguir adelante.

Después de haber trabajado fielmente desde los 16 años, llevo más de 7 meses y medio desempleada. He enviado más de 1,000 solicitudes, participado en cientos de entrevistas, y he mantenido mi fe y perseverancia día tras día, esperando que el Señor abra la puerta correcta.

Durante este tiempo, he utilizado todos mis recursos — mi finiquito, mis ahorros y mi 401(k) — solo para mantenerme a flote. Pero las cuentas no se detienen, y ahora me encuentro completamente sin recursos. Mi mamá ha hecho todo lo posible por ayudarme, pero ella ya tiene la gran carga de mantener nuestro hogar y cubrir los gastos de mi abuela. No es justo seguir pidiéndole más.

Por eso, con un corazón humilde y sincero, hoy recurro a ustedes en busca de ayuda — algo que nunca imaginé tener que hacer.
