In need of a Late Christmas Miracle:

Donation protected
On December 26th, my brother, Adam, and sister-in-law, Lupe, were in a tragic and horrifying car accident. Someone, excessively speeding down a country highway, T-boned their car, sending it catapulting 4 times until it came to rest.

They were trapped in the car, upside down, until help arrived. My brother suffered from a severely broken clavicle, but Lupe had most of the trauma.
She was rushed by ambulance to Indianapolis, going in and out of consciousness. She was in the ICU for several days before she recovered enough to go home.

Unfortunately, with all accidents, they are unexpected.

Adam, an employee for Subaru in Lafayette, was already suffering reduced hours due to the auto chip shortage. Lupe, working two jobs to help make ends meet, had been off work due to a medical issue. She was anticipating returning to work that Monday, the 27th, when tragedy struck.

Both have unable to work since the accident.

The break Adam suffered is so severe, he will require surgery, and that will keep him out for work for at least an additional 12 weeks. It could be longer as they won’t know the extent of the damage until the surgery is finished and recovery is underway.
I’m hoping there are good souls who are willing to help them bridge this financial gap until they are able to get back on their feet.
The medical bills will be extensive even though they do have insurance coverage. Unfortunately, with the timing of the accident, they will be hit with deductibles and out major out of pocket expenses from December 2021, AND then, will have to repeat those same hefty deductibles and out of pocket expenses, now-January 2022. That alone is financially crippling.

We need a late Christmas miracle. We need your help and your prayers. Every dollar helps. Whatever amount you can give, big or small, will be met with love and appreciation.

Even the act of sharing this story with your friends and family, is a great help to us.

Thank you and God Bless,
Sarah- Adam’s sister
