This September, I’ll be taking on one of the biggest physical and mental challenges of my life – the Weymouth Ironman 70.3 – to raise vital funds for a cause that’s been close to my heart since I was young: Compassion in World Farming.
Their work to end factory farming and promote better lives for animals has inspired me for years. From pushing for higher welfare standards to exposing cruelty and campaigning for policy change, Compassion in World Farming is leading the fight for a more humane and sustainable food system.
Training for a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run is no small task, but I’m motivated every day knowing it’s for something that truly matters. If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world – both to me and to the animals whose lives you’ll be helping improve.
Let’s make every mile count.
Thank you for your support!
More information about Compassion in World Farming International: Our mission is to end factory farming.
More than 75 billion animals are farmed for food worldwide every year, and over two thirds are reared intensively in systems that seriously impact their welfare.
Our vision is a world where farm animals are treated with compassion and respect and where cruel factory farming practices end.
Join the global movement at ciwf.org to expose the truth about the food we eat, and to fight for better food and farming.
