In Memory & Support of Chris Scandridge & Family

Donation protected
In the early morning of Sunday, August 6th, Chris Scandridge was involved in a tragic accident and sadly passed away at the young age of 41. It is a sudden and tragic loss that is hard to put into words. Chris was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife and two young children.

Chris spent over 17 years in the FAA beginning in Jacksonville Center before transferring to Houston Center over a decade ago and settling in the New Orleans Specialty. Chris had a love and passion for aviation which drove him to be such an outstanding controller, trainer, co-worker and friend.

Text messages and conversations about Chris today are filled with "What a great guy" and "What an awesome dude". Sometimes those are just the nice things to say, other times they don't do justice describing the individual. In describing Chris, it's certainly the latter.

I could go on and on but the fact is he will be sorely missed.

Let's show how much Chris meant to those of us who knew him. I am asking we support Chris' family through this difficult time as they mourn their sudden and tragic loss.
