In Loving Memory of Zane Rasmussen

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Zane Rasmussen, a beloved husband, father, family member, friend, and dedicated lineman.

For the past 7 years, Zane proudly worked as a lineman for GRDA (Grand River Dam Authority). His career was more than just a job—it reflected his hard work, dedication, and commitment to providing for his family and serving others.

Zane leaves behind his loving wife and their two children, who are now facing a loss that no family is ever prepared for. While they grieve the unimaginable loss of their husband and father, they will also be navigating the financial challenges and uncertainty that come with losing someone who played such an important role in their family.

We have created this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden during this heartbreaking time. Donations will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, household bills, everyday necessities, and helping provide stability for his wife and children in the days and months ahead.

No amount of money can take away their pain or replace Zane’s presence in their lives, but we hope that coming together as a community can give his family the time and space they need to grieve, heal, and be there for one another without carrying the additional weight of financial uncertainty.
