On the evening of July 28th, we heard the unfortunate news that Yajaira Escalante passed due to carbon monoxide poisoning, She was only 17 years old and the news devastated our family. As we mourn the loss of a child, she will be remembered as a girl, whose smile and laughter would make people fill with joy. She was an amazing student, who was ready to graduate school as an LPN, having her associate's in hand and her high school diploma. As her cousin, I decided to open this page where all the funds will go directly to her family to cover funeral and burial expenses. Anything that people are willing to donate will be appreciated.

En la noche del 28 de Julio, nos dijeron la terible noticia que Yajaira Escalante fallecio debido al monóxido de carbon. Ella solo tenia 17 años y la noticia devastó a nuestra familia. Mientras lamentamos la pérdida de una hija, será recordada como una niña, donde su sonrisa y risa hacian que la gente se llenara de alegría. Era una estudiante increíble, que estaba lista para graduarse como LPN, con su asociado en la mano y su diploma de escuela secundaria. Como su primo, decidí abrir esta página donde todos los fondos irán directamente a su familia para cubrir los gastos de funeral y entierro.
