In Memory of Wyatt Haggerty

On Saturday July 22nd, Wyatt Blair Haggerty was killed during a gunshot accident. For all those who had the opportunity to meet him, knew just how special of a guy he was. Not a day went by when Wyatt didn't strive to brighten somebody's day by letting out one of his goofy laughs, or by cracking a simple joke. There is no greater tragedy or pain than having to lose someone so suddenly and with so much life still ahead of them. It was not long ago that the Haggerty's had to say goodbye to two other special men, and now it is time to say it once more.  Wyatt was incredibly smart and truly loved both math and engineering. He would often say "it chose me, I didn't choose it. " Wyatt was enrolled in a collaborative Mechanical Engineering program between Frostburg State University and the University of Maryland, and was on track to obtain his degree by May 2018. It has been shared with the family that due to having 111 credits and a high GPA, Wyatt will be awarded this degree he worked especially hard for afterall. The efforts of this campaign are to raise money in honor of Wyatt Blair Haggerty and his passions. The money will go towards an engineering scholarship at Frostburg State Univerity in his name. Any amount donated would be profoundly appreciated.  Thank you all for your condolences and keep the prayers going.
