In memory of William Bruce Carpenter

In memory of William Bruce Carpenter. I am making this on behalf of the Carpenter family. They are in need of support in burying Bruce Carpenter. He fought hard and overcame so many medical obstacles these past few months, only to be diagnosed with hypoxia and carbon dioxide poisoning, and passed away 48 hours later. Bruce was a Veteran Marine, an awesome husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He and his wife paid for an insurance policy for many years, but upon Bruce’s death, his wife was told that is was an accidental only policy, and she would not receive any funds. Bruce was a hard working truck driver until he retired after 30 years. Bruce was a selfless man, always willing to lend a helping hand. He collected and distributed toys for the Toys for Tots for many years, volunteered in countless military dedication ceremonies and parades, and was always willing to help in his community. Bruce and Shirley were only receiving social security as their main income. They have had legal guardianship over three of their great grandchildren for many years, and the financial responsibility of that while being retired did not allow for them to have a savings. Without the insurance policy, it is going to be a struggle to provide a proper military service and burial for Bruce. Thank you!
