On Friday, September 1st 2017, my cousin Whitney Summerlott was involved in a car accident just out side Atwood, IL, about 35 minutes outside her hometown of Decatur. Unfortunately, her injuries were too much and she passed away as a result.
Whitney is married to wonderful man named Eric who was on his way home from a two week trip to Canada for work when the accident occurred. They have two small children, Nathan & Lucy.

This accident, as with any, was very unexpected & Eric will need all the help he can get to pay for final expenses.
Whitney was a very free spirited soul who would do anything for anyone she came across. She had started her own business of making soaps and selling them at local flee markets and through her business page on Facebook.
