After a courageous, multi-year battle with autoimmune encephalitis, my brother, Westin, passed peacefully on January 4, 2026, with his wife Leigh by his side. While our hearts are deeply broken, we find meaning in knowing that he was never alone - we fought alongside him every moment we could, and we trust that he is now free from pain.

Westin was dearly loved, and during this time we have experienced the most incredible outpouring of care, prayer, and generosity from friends, family, colleagues, and church community. Many have asked how they can best care for our family in the days ahead. This fund was created in response to that love.

All contributions will go directly toward supporting Leigh, Wyatt, and Willa as they navigate grief and a life without Westin. Funds may be used for emotional and practical care for our family - such as counseling and additional child care - creating space for rest, healing, and stability.

Any fund beyond these immediate needs will be set aside for Wyatt and Willa’s futures.
