In memory of Wes Briggs

With the sudden passing of Wes Briggs at 37, the family is starting a GoFundMe. Wes left behind his daughter Jasmine, who is still in elementary school, when he went to Alberta to work. We are hoping to raise $15,000. $10,000 toward future care and expenses for Jasmine and $5000 towards the “Wes and Jasmine Briggs Memorial Bursary”. Although Jasmine is surrounded by a loving family, funds raised will be placed in a Trust Fund for Jasmines future care and expenses and the memorial bursary. The bursary of $500 per year for 10 years will go to a Basketball Player at Ladysmith Senior Secondary who will be pursuing Post-Secondary Education. Every June at LSS Graduation Jasmine will be able to present the annual award in honor of her dad. No amount of money can ever replace the love and care that Wes had for Jasmine but we will keep his memory alive.
