In Memory of Walter “Wally” Rockhill
Donation protected
Walter was a man who was never at a loss for words. It didn’t matter if you were family, friend, or just someone he was passing on the street. He treated everyone like he knew them for years. He was the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. It is with profound sadness to have to say goodbye to such a great person. On December 6th, Wally passed away while on vacation with family. Nobody could have imagined that such a joyous event would end in such tragedy.
Wally was first and foremost a family man. There was never a day that he didn’t talk about his wife Jennifer or his sons Joey and Vinny. They were the true loves of his life. There was nothing he would not do for them. Wally was also a great friend. He was larger than life and all heart. He could tell a story that sounded so outrageous but was actually 100% true. The more outrageous, the funnier they were. You always knew these memories from our past would end with Jenn saying, “Oh Walter!!!”
It didn’t matter if you talked to Walt every day or you hadn’t spoken to him in years. He could always pick up right where you left off. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Those who will not get the chance to meet him will never know this incredible man.
His unexpected passing has left us with an unbearable hole in our lives. The emotional grief is being shared by all of those he has touched; however, the financial burden caused by his untimely passing in a foreign country is being experienced by his family alone. In this time of profound grief, this GoFundMe campaign was set up to help relieve some of these financial pressures that only Jenn and his boys will know. Your donations will go towards expenses associated with the funeral and help provide support as they prepare for life without Walter.
Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. No matter what is given, it will make a difference to a family who needs to grieve. They should not have to worry about how they will provide the proper arrangements for the man we all loved. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
