Donation protected
We are raising funds in tribute and honor of the recent passing of our much beloved neighbor and friend, Vyrlyn.
Vyrlyn and his family have been the guardians of our block for many generations--plowing our sidewalks, watching out for suspicious activity, alerting us to our car windows being open during rain storms, and spending many days out in the cold breaking up the snow and cleaning out the sewer grates so that our streets could be free of puddles and ice.
And all of this despite the ongoing pain he had been suffering from a work-related injury years ago.
Vyrlyn was also known in the neighborhood for his amazing ability with cars (his prized SUV is pictured above), as well as for the absolute delight he took in being blessed during the past year with the arrival of two grandsons.
We are so grateful to him not only for all he did to help others in the neighborhood, but also for the amazing example he set for the children on the block, who he always treated like gold. With his passing, this thoughtful and giving man has made the ultimate final gift of organ donation his last act on earth.
We, his Kingfield neighbors, know that his unexpected and sudden passing brings not only emotional challenges, but financial ones, and we are raising these funds to give to Gail and family in tribute to his memory.
