We mourn the loss of our colleague Vikas Srivastava. Vikas has been working in the Gurgaon/Delhi office since 2006 and has been part of steam turbine service engineering team for the last 5 years.

Last week, he was diagnosed with Covid. As his condition worsened, our local colleagues fought to find a place for him in a hospital. The search was successful. Unfortunately, his condition continued to deteriorate. Due to the current emergency situation in India, there was no way to transfer him to another hospital with better treatment options. Vikas passed away on Thursday, May 6th, at the age of 42.

He leaves behind a wife and two children, aged seven and one and a half.

In addition to the unbearable suffering caused by the loss of a husband and father, his family is now facing financial hardship. We are therefore personally offering the opportunity to donate for his family via a GoFundMe campaign. We invite you to contribute if you wish. The donations should help to reduce the family's material worries to some extent, and every little bit helps. We are doing this to support our colleague and co-worker.
