In Memory of Vernon Matthew Guenst

Last night, January 24, our family gathered together and wrapped our love around my Uncle Matt as he passed away peacefully.

This tragedy has left my twin cousins, Lucas and Leonna, and also my cousin Michelle with a huge void and enormous sadness. The past few weeks have been very difficult for everyone, and while his passing has ended his struggle and brought him to peace, they must now think of laying their Dad to rest.

If you knew my Uncle Matt at all, you know he absolutely lived in the moment… He was a kind and funny jokester who brought so much joy and laughter to everyone around him. His presence was grandiose. When he walked into a room, you knew it in an instant, sometimes just because he was so very loud! He was so loved by so many, and he will be incredibly missed. But he was not a planner, and he did not have life insurance or any final resting plan.

I created this GoFundMe page to humbly ask for your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping our family give this amazing man, and Lucas and Leonna give their Dad, the proper goodbye he deserves.
