In Loving Memory of Vaughn-Gavin G. Vaughn

On Thursday, March 27th—just seven days after his 15th birthday—we tragically lost a bright and beautiful soul, Vaughn-Gavin Christian Vaughn.

Vaughn passed suddenly at home, surrounded by the love of his siblings—his older sister (17), older brother (16), and two younger brothers (ages 3 and 4). He had just returned from school when he experienced a severe asthma attack. Despite his mother’s immediate care, the quick response of paramedics, and the tireless efforts of hospital staff, Vaughn could not be revived.

Doctors described his passing as rare and heartbreaking, as he appeared to be so healthy. In moments like these, we are reminded that we cannot question the timing of the Most High. Vaughn’s transition was peaceful and filled with love, taking place in the presence of those who cherished him most.

This sudden loss has brought unimaginable grief and financial hardship to the family. Vaughn’s mother, a dedicated educator, full-time college student, and loving mother of five, is now facing the difficult task of laying her child to rest while continuing to care for her children.
