Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser to support Lena Khmelnitskaya and her family after the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her father, Vasiliy Khmelnitskiy. He passed away unexpectedly while visiting Lena and her family in Virginia Beach.

Vasiliy was full of life, warmth, and kindness. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and a proud grandfather. Many of us in the community had the chance to meet him and know what a bright and kind soul he was.

This is a devastating loss for Lena’s family. Nothing can replace what they’ve lost, but I’d love to help ease at least some of the burden by supporting them financially during this difficult time.
