In Memory of Valerie Avila

It is with the heaviest of hearts we share the untimely passing of our beloved Valerie Avila on December 26, 2023. She was taken to the hospital Christmas Eve and admitted directly to the ICU. Despite the efforts of her medical team, she gained her wings two days later. She passed surrounded by her children, granddaughters, brother and closest friends.
Valerie was a loving mother, grandmother, and loyal friend to many. A charismatic, one of a kind soul. She had an inviting, warm motherly personality that earned her the nickname Mama Val. Many coworkers share that she made PetSmart a home for them.
She leaves behind her children, Victoria and Matteo, two granddaughters, Abby and Maliyah, and a multitude of family and friends.
We are crushed of her passing, but she now joins her mom and dad in heaven. ️
She will be missed deeply.
