On January 23, 2025, we lost our beloved wife and mother, Valerie, as well as daughter and sister, Charity Hicks. They went home to be with the Lord after a devastating car collision. This has been an unbelievably tragic loss to our family and friends as they were radiant lights to everyone around them.

We do not understand why the Lord allowed this to happen, but know we can place our full trust and faith in Him. He alone sustains and keeps us. We do not know His plans or ways, but know that He does all for His glory. We are comforted that He is with the broken hearted.

Christ is who made Valerie and Charity exceptional people. Christ transforms lives. An unchanged man is an unsaved man. If your life has never been transformed by Christ, call upon Him for salvation today.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

We will deeply miss our two loved ones, but are overjoyed they are in the Lord’s presence and in His everlasting arms. Until we meet again, so very soon.
