In Memory of Usman: Support Our Family During This Tragedy

On September 6th 2025 our world was shattered when Usman was tragically murdered and taken from us. He was only 20 years old and he meant the world to everyone who got to know him. Usman had a big heart, he loved his family and friends. Usman had so many hopes and dreams for his life. He was pursuing higher education and was going to transfer to the U of U, he wanted to travel the world, he wanted to move to California to be near the ocean, and he wanted to one day have a family and give Batool grandchildren that she could love. He will never be able to do any of these things because someone decided they could take his life from him.

He was the youngest baby of three and the only boy born to his mother Batool. As we all grieve this unimaginable loss, Usman's single mother Batool is faced with processing the loss of her youngest child. As she processes this loss, she is also faced with the heavy burden of funeral, medical, and everyday life expenses. Batool will also need time away from work to process this tragedy while she tries to begin the healing process. Missing work brings additional financial stressors that no mother should have to worry about as she processes the loss and burial of her child.

Since Usman left us, we have been showered with condolences and messages from people who knew and loved him. Those messages asked how they could provide support and this is one way to provide support for Batool and our family. Thank you for supporting our family through what is truly the most difficult time in our lives. Your kindness, support, and love mean more to us than words can express.

All funds are being raised by Batool's daughter Aqsa Franco on behalf of Batool Dalal. Batool has requested that Aqsa manage these funds for her as the family navigates the end of life process to lay Usman to rest. Funds will be used on Batool's behalf by Aqsa to pay for the funeral/end of life celebration and any funds not used for those things will be transferred directly to Batool Dalal to be used as she needs.
