Trevor Scott Teeter
Trevor Scott Teeter, of Sycamore, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 5th, 2025, at the age of 27. He was born on June 27, 1997, in Downers Grove, IL, the son of Diana (nee Gutierrez) and Scott Teeter.
Trevor was incredibly talented as a welder and used that skillset to continuously advance in his career as one. Outside of work, he found joy in kayaking, a competitive round of darts with his wife, boat rides on the lake, a bonfire with friends, and a cruise on the motorcycle—forever seeking the next journey, whether on the road, in the water, or with his friends and family.
Trevor’s life was marked by a kind heart, a courageous spirit, and a love for life’s simple pleasures.
Trevor is survived by his devoted wife, Halle Boddy; his supportive parents, Scott and Diana Teeter; his beloved sister, Marisa (Eric) Tremore; his cherished niece and nephew, Eliza and Luca Tremore; maternal grandmother, Ann Marie Gutierrez; his best friend/canine companion, Beef (Wellington); his best friends Chris “Wes” Wesoly and Brandon Allen; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norma and Charlie Teeter, and his maternal grandfather, Salvador Gutierrez.
Funeral services for Trevor Scott Teeter will be held at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with visitation from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a Sharing of Memories beginning at 5:30 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.

Trevor was truly known as the life of any party. He was the jokester, the laid-back one, could make you laugh till you cry. He had an unmatched sense of humor and a huge heart. Losing Trevor is a tragedy that no one could've been prepared for. It was sudden, unexpected, and a shock to us all.
If able, any donation would be helpful! Everything counts. If you are unable to donate, please leave a favorite memory you have with Trevor. We want to remember him as the free-spirited person he was.
