In Memory of Tracy: Medical and Funeral Aid

My name is Cassie. Tracy started out working at my farm almost 18 years ago. What started out as just a part-time job at my place in addition to her working at Kenneth's True Pit BBQ turned into a friendship, a sister I never had. Tracy didn't have to come over here and work through the grueling heat or the cold winters, but she enjoyed getting out of the house, and we called it our therapy sessions in the mornings. We talked about our husbands, our children, what we cooked for dinner, what we did that weekend, and our grandchildren. Anything and everything Monday thru Friday for 18 years. Tracy had a way of zinging in what we called "Tracy'isms," some saying you had never heard and would make you laugh till you cried. Not sure what I am going to do without her. She became my best friend and sister. We shared the death of my father, her mother and brother, deaths of our beloved 4-legged animals, and the amazing birth of our grandkids. Eighteen years of friendship was not enough, and her 55 years here on this earth were not long enough either.

I have created this GoFundMe to help out with her medical costs as she did not have insurance, so medical bills will be rolling in soon, and hopefully, the family can settle some of it with the hospital. She spent 3 days in ICU. Chris has been home with her the past few weeks without pay and hopefully can stay home a little longer to grieve before he goes back to work. The family will need funeral expense money.

I still sit here in shock, not believing my friend will not be here come Monday morning. And I know her family is in shock and disbelief that their wife, mom, and MiMi is in heaven now watching them from above.
