In Memory of Tosha Cannon: Support Her Loved Ones
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and kind-hearted individuals,
We are writing on the behalf of our beautiful mother, Tosha Cannon, whom many of you knew. If you talked to her for long enough, she would always talk about how proud she was of her three daughters or asking where her fiancée, John, was. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with stage IV triple negative breast cancer, which metastasized to her lung, spine, and unfortunately her heart. She was given days-weeks and placed on hospice. We regret to announce, with heavy hearts, that her transition is here. She passed away 1/25/2025 at night. Her departure hits us deeply and has left our family lost.
About our mom:
She is the fiancée of John, and has three daughters: Jazmine, Tyra, and Tyasia. She loves her family with all of her heart and never failed to put a smile on our face or lift us up. She was previously a nurse and loved the medical field so much. She looked forward to watching the Eagles and loved their merch. If you ever met our mother, she was the smartest, funniest, and most kind-hearted and loving person you’d ever meet. The moment she met you, she made it her goal to make you feel heard and understood. She loved having her hair, nails, and makeup done by her daughters and was a diva by heart. Her biggest goal in life was to meet her grandkids and to see her daughter graduate college.
She had many health complications, such as Multiple Sclerosis, chronic pain syndrome, previously breast cancer, and suffering from a prior diagnosis of sickle cell. Through this all, she pushed through and always made it a goal to check up on her friends and family no matter what she was going through.
Due to the loss of our mother, this has created an unexpected financial burden on our family. Because of misdiagnoses, we did not know the extent of her cancer and her condition went downhill fast. This has left us stuck in preparation for her celebration of life, bills, and outstanding medical expenses. We ask for any donation, whether big or small, to help us with this financial strain. Even if you are not able to help with a donation, sharing this link would mean so much to our family. We are humbly reaching out for any support during this time.
We thank you all for reading through this and learning more about our mother. We are so grateful for the support we have received already. Words cannot express our gratitude for your donations
Sincerely,
Tyasia, Tyra, Jazz, and John
