Funeral Expenses for Tonya and support for Gabby

Tonya Ojaniemi, a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend tragically passed unexpectedly, August 20th, 2024 at the age of 38. She leaves behind a 16 year old daughter Gabby, the light of her life; as well as her mom, Chris, her brother, Nick, nieces and nephews and so many other family members and friends.

As you can imagine, the whole Ojaniemi family is devastated. We are raising money to help ease some of the burden that comes with such a tragic loss. We would also like to provide Gabby with any additional funds not used for the service to assist with her needs, as she is just approaching her junior year at Denfeld High School. She is a vital member of the Hunter Football team, which has been a passion of Gabby's since she was young.

Any help you can provide the Ojaniemi family during this heartbreaking time would mean so much to us. A celebration of life is scheduled for August 30th, beginning at 1pm, at Dougherty Funeral Home in Duluth, MN. A luncheon will be provided following her service with details to come.

Tonya was a stranger to no one and a friend to everyone. It is incredibly difficult to imagine a world without her. Thank you so very much for your love and support.
