In Memory of Tony Olivas

There are times in life that are too tragic for words and too hard to bear. On Monday August 10th, 2020 Anthony (Tony) Olivas Jr passed away from liver failure. He was diagnosed two months ago and fought his hardest but is now at peace with God.
He was only 48 years old, and leaves behind his incredibly strong and courageous wife Mona and their three beautiful children, Anthony , age 16, and two daughters Leanna age 14 and Jessica age 11.
He was a loyal son, devoted father, loving brother, amazing coach and beloved husband. Tony was loved by everyone who knew him.
Tony was special; anyone who knew him, knew that. His laugh had the power to light up the room. He was fiercely loyal. Whom and what he loved, he loved tremendously, deeply. Tony always put his family and friends first. He was charismatic, animated, and dedicated to baseball. For years he coached his son Anthony and probably spent 6-7 days a week at the SVBL fields doing everything he could for the kids.
We’re all heartbroken, and Tony will be profoundly missed.
This campaign was set up by a small group of Tony’s friends and family in response to the many requests from those looking to help. The money raised through this page will help alleviate the financial burden left by his sudden passing and will provide support to Mona and the kids.
