Below is Christina’s message about Tomás’s passing:

‘I am writing this message with shock, confusion, and an extremely broken heart.

My husband Tomás passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, November 13th, while working at his desk. As I struggle to process why this happened, I am devastated beyond words. Tomás left us far too soon, and the impact of his absence is immeasurable. He was the kindest, most loving, caring, and generous man I know. His smile would light up a room.

Whether he was working on his cars, playing music, cheering on his favorite team, or enjoying a friendly, but competitive, game of poker, he embraced life fully. He was always there for friends and family, offering a helping hand. Some of our happiest memories were the adventures we shared together. He was my best friend, partner, and love of my life.

As we struggle to process this painful loss, we hold on to the love, laughter, and joy he brought into our lives. His absence is a void that can never be filled.

I deeply appreciate all of the compassion, prayers, and support I have received during this immensely difficult time.’
