We've lost a member of our Archrock family: Tomas Infante

It is with a heavy heart that we share the following news. Tomas Infante, member of the Asset Management team at Archrock in Houston, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 22nd. Tomas is survived by his two sons. He is preceded in death by his wife, Griselda.

Tomas celebrated his 27th year of service with Archrock last month. Tomas started his career in the compression business with Archrock (Hanover) in July 1994 as a Foreman. Throughout his tenured career he held multiple roles of increasing responsibility in the field and shop organizations before joining Asset Management where he led the Capital Projects team for many years.

While he was known as Tomas to his Archrock family, he was known as Sergeant Tomas Infante to many others. During his time at Archrock, Sergeant Infante also served as a Reserve Deputy for the Precinct 6 Harris County Constable’s Office for 12 years where he was recently promoted from Deputy to Sergeant earlier this year.

Tomas was very passionate about his work. He possessed a strong work ethic and technical knowledge that made him an integral part of the team. However, what stands out above all was his dedication to his peers and the organization. Tomas always signed the monthly Capital Projects updates: “We in Asset Management are here to help any way we can. Talk to us.” This was something he meant and lived by. Tomas’ willingness to share his knowledge and desire to help others will be truly missed by the Archrock family.
