It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tarlochan Singh Matharu, who left us on April 10th, 2025 at his home in San Ramon, California.

Tochi dedicated his life to being a beacon of love and fun for his friends and family, spending his free time playing golf ,shooting pool, and traveling with loved ones. He was known for his humor, free spirit, jovial energy, and making everyone around him feel like family, no matter who they were.

A memorial service will be held on April 19th at 10am PST, at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, we will be raising funds for Thrive Kenya, honoring Tochi’s love for his home country of Kenya, hoping we can impact the lives of Kenyan children to embark on the same impactful journey and life that Tochi had.

Tochi will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
