My name is Christy Ballinger, and I’m raising funds to support a dear family friend and caregiver to my elderly parents, Bonnie Sapien. Bonnie and her family have known my family for over 50 years. She has also been the devoted mother of Toby Sapien, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 36. Bonnie’s mother, Aurora Sapien, is my godmother and another cherished member of our extended family.

I’m reaching out to ask for help to offset the funeral expenses and other essential costs Bonnie may face during this difficult time of mourning. As the Bible says in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We are holding Bonnie and her family in prayer, asking God to comfort them and surround them with His peace.

Bonnie has been a constant source of love, patience, and kindness to my parents, who have been very ill. She has cared tirelessly for them and their pets, and she has truly been a blessing in our lives. My family and I want to rally around Bonnie and her family during this heartbreaking loss, offering our love, support, and practical help in any way we can.
