On Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, my dear sister Laticia (Tish) Guardado passed on. For those who knew her, you know she suffered for most of her life, and yet she made it to age 51. She was the toughest woman many of us knew, fighting for her life through kidney failure, multiple infections, heart surgery, trauma. Some of us knew this day would come, and yet, with how hard she fought, in some way we never thought this day would come.

She is unconditionally loved by her friends and family, her Calistoga Ace Hardware family where she worked since age 16, and her son who was the light of her life.

Unfortunately, when a loved one passes in our culture, the grieving period is interrupted by logistics, commerce, and laying a loved one to rest becomes a commodity. I'm raising funds for Laticia, and her son, to give her a proper burial based on her wishes. At this time, it is an urgent matter.

All funds raised will go towards her cemetery plot and burial and funeral services.
