Tinamarie Griggs

Tinamarie Griggs passed away on February 2nd, 2021 leaving behind her husband Rigo of almost 25 years, her 7 children, Rigo, April, Joe, Tiana, Jillian, Jake and Jackson, as well as her brother Joe, and her mother and father Josephine and Joseph, as well as many other close relatives. Tina was full of life and her laugh alone was contagious. She was beautiful and smart and the very best mother and wife that anyone could have asked for.  She always put her entire family above anything else in life and she would have wanted all of her family to continue to be happy and well taken care of.  There was never a time where she didn't put her family and friends above herself.  Additionally, our mom loved waking up almost every morning to work with her students at Fishkill Elementary. There was never a time where she didn't come home smiling from work, because she loved her co-workers and students like they were family. 

She had the biggest heart and lived a life filled with care, compassion, and generosity. Even when we didn't have a lot, she didn't care, she was still the first person to volunteer or help out in any way shape or form. 

As a family, we are completely devastated, but we take solace in your kind words and support for our family during this trying time. We know she is looking down and her heart is completely full knowing how much the community cared about her. Please know that any contribution or kind words will not and do not go unnoticed, and will be used in her honor to help out our for the mortgage, bills, kid's college, burial expenses, life...
