We are deeply grateful for the love and generosity so many have shown to our Tia Lorena Mata (Godínez). Throughout her courageous journey with cancer, her family poured their love, time, and strength in caring for her. Even through the hardest moments, our Tia met each day with extraordinary bravery and unwavering faith, doing everything she could to give her children comfort, hope, and a sense of normalcy. She defied medical expectation, giving us more time with her than anyone imagined, a true blessing and miracle.

On the morning of November 21st, she passed peacefully, surrounded by her husband and children, with her siblings, mother, in-laws, and loved ones nearby. Tia Lorena loved her family with her whole heart, and it brings us comfort knowing her final moments were wrapped in the same love she so freely gave. She is now resting in peace, free from pain.

As the youngest daughter of the Godinez family, Tia Lorena was a devoted mother, a fun and loving aunt, and a steady source of warmth, courage, and faith to all who knew her. As the Mata family faces this tremendous loss, we humbly ask for any support you feel called to offer, whether through a donation or by keeping them close in your thoughts and prayers.

En nombre de la familia Mata, pedimos humildemente su apoyo mientras honramos a nuestra querida tía y le damos su último adiós.

Estamos profundamente agradecidos por el amor y la generosidad que tantos han mostrado a nuestra Tía Lorena Mata (Godínez). A lo largo de su valiente batalla contra el cáncer, su familia le entregó su amor, su tiempo y su fortaleza para cuidarla. Incluso en los momentos más difíciles, nuestra Tía enfrentó cada día con una valentía extraordinaria y una fe inquebrantable, haciendo todo lo posible para darles a sus hijos consuelo, esperanza y una sensación de normalidad. Ella desafió las expectativas médicas, regalándonos más tiempo con ella del que nadie imaginó, un verdadero milagro y una bendición.

En la mañana del 21 de noviembre, falleció en paz, rodeada de su esposo y sus hijos, con sus hermanos, su madre, sus suegros y seres queridos cerca de ella. Tía Lorena amaba a su familia con todo su corazón, y nos reconforta saber que sus últimos momentos estuvieron envueltos en el mismo amor que ella daba tan generosamente. Ahora descansa en paz, libre de dolor.

Como la hija menor de la familia Godínez, Tía Lorena fue una madre dedicada, una tía divertida y amorosa, y una fuente constante de calidez, valentía y fe para todos los que la conocieron. Mientras la familia Mata enfrenta esta inmensa pérdida, humildemente pedimos cualquier apoyo que sientan en su corazón ofrecer, ya sea mediante una donación o manteniéndolos presentes en sus pensamientos y oraciones.
