I am setting this page up in hope that we can help my dear friend and her family as I am sadly witnessing them mourn for the sudden loss of their dad/ husband.
My friend's mum and dad (Karen and Thomas) went to Hong Kong recently to enjoy a holiday together, but within 10 days Thomas passed away age 67yrs. There was no warning no illness. My lovely friend and her two sisters did not get to say goodbye, they saw him last thinking he was returning from his holiday.
Her mum, Karen is now left with trying to somehow put her life back together, she was supposed to be retiring to enjoy their life adventures. They were married for 42 years. They did everything together. I am sure life will never be the same for her but somehow hope as a community we can alleviate some of her stresses.
Due to Thomas’s departure abroad as if it wasn’t enough for his wife she had to have a funeral ceremony in Hong Kong in order to return him back to the UK. The family have to go through a second funeral in the next few weeks in their home town Preston. As you can imagine this comes with a huge expense, along with Karen having to somehow fund the rest of her life. All funds will go directly to Karen.
The family have also been asked about flower money so this is another purpose of setting up this page.
So I am here humbly asking for your help. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Also, please keep the family in your prayers.
