Kalayla Roark a loving member to our Expanded learning family has been dedicated to our youth and Richmond community for a very long time , now is a time where she needs us back.

Kalaylas fathers health began declining rapidly within the past year. She worked tirelessly to be his advocate, caregiver and support system all while balancing the work as a coordinator for an afterschool program. This became even more of a challenge when she lost her sister at the end of last year and took on caring for her nephew.

Coming into the new year her father was placed on hospice. She continued to show up for our kids and care for her father until he was called home last week.

Kalayla is one of the most selfless people I know and I would like to do whatever I can to help her in this time. If you find it in your heart to want to do the same, be it monetary or a simple share, it is appreciated.
