On November 26, 2025, Thomas Morton passed away after more than a year of battling stage 4 bladder cancer. He is survived by his wife, his four children, and his four grandchildren.
Currently, his family is faced with a bill of around $8,000 to be able to hold a funeral. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
According to the American Cancer Society, “bladder cancer is the 10th leading cause of cancer death in the United States”. Bladder cancer is more common in men than women. The American Cancer Society’s estimates for bladder cancer in the United States for 2025 are:
- “About 84,870 new cases of bladder cancer (about 65,080 in men and 19,790 in women)”.
- “About 17,420 deaths from bladder cancer (about 12,640 in men and 4,780 in women)”.
