In Loving Memory of Terry Shaw ❤️

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Terry Shaw, who tragically took his own life.

There are no words to truly express the pain of losing someone in such circumstances. Terry’s passing has left a huge hole in the lives of everyone who loved him. His children, his mum, his brothers and sisters, and all his family are now facing an unimaginable loss and trying to navigate life without someone who meant so much to them.

Terry’s mum is struggling greatly to come to terms with the loss of her son, as are his siblings, who are all trying to process the heartbreak of losing someone they love so dearly. No family should ever have to experience this kind of pain, and our hearts go out to everyone who is struggling to make sense of such a devastating loss.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial pressures that come with such an unexpected and heartbreaking tragedy. The funds raised will go towards Terry’s funeral costs, helping to give him the farewell he deserves, and towards creating a special place where his children can go to remember their dad, feel close to him, and keep his memory alive as they grow up.

We also hope to provide financial support for his children over the coming years as they navigate life without their father. No amount of money can take away their pain or fill the space Terry has left behind, but we hope these funds can help provide some stability, comfort, and reassurance during the difficult years ahead.

Losing a parent is something no child should ever have to face, and while we cannot change what has happened, we can come together as a community to help support Terry’s children and give them a lasting place to visit, reflect, and feel connected to their dad. We want them to know that, even though their dad is no longer physically here, he will always be remembered and loved.
