I'm Nicole, Terry Robbins niece. I started this go fund me on behalf of Terry's entire family to help with expenses during this devastating time.
August 31, my Aunt Debbie and two cousins, Jennifer and Jessica, lost their husband and father. Uncle Terry passed away suddenly (unexpectedly), due to severe Covid pneumonia after taking his sister down to Tennessee. Terry was only supposed to be gone for a few days, but he got sick while in Tennessee and ended up being gone for 3 1/2 weeks. At the same time, Aunt Debbie got sick as well, so neither were able to travel to be with each other as they battled this tragic virus. During the early hours of Sunday, Terry ended up in the hospital on the highest level of oxygen possible. At this point, Debbie, Jenny and Jessie had little to no contact with their husband and father. At 1:52am on Tuesday, Debbie received a video call from Terry's phone with a nurse saying he needed to be intubated right away to try and save his life. At that time, Debbie and Jessie only had about 10 seconds to say their goodbyes before the nurse disconnected the phone to begin intubation. They had no idea it would later be the last time they would see his face. Terry was only intubated for a short time before he passed away and went home to be with the Lord.
This loss is absolutely devastating to this family. Terry was a family man, always the life of the party, joking and making you laugh whenever is his presence. He loved his family very much and his beautiful wife, daughters and granddaughter were his entire world. Terry would do absolutely anything for his whole entire family. Due to past spinal surgeries, he was unable to work for the past 4 years which caused a huge financial hardship on the family. Debbie and his daughters are now left to try and navigate life without him while trying to figure out medical expenses, funeral expenses and the cost of getting him back home. We are humbly asking for any donations, as this would be a huge blessing and help the Robbins family tremendously during this extremely difficult time.
Thank you
Terry's Family
