This fundraiser was set up in Terry's memory to help a group of mums called the 'Angel Mums' who have all lost their children to brain cancer.

When Terry was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2024 he was contacted by his niece Rebecca, who had lost her daughter Grace (Terry's great niece) aged 14 in 2020 to the same tumour as Terry, a Glioblastoma.

Like her amazing great uncle, Grace had gone through the very same treatments with no success.

Terry followed Rebecca's journey on Facebook after Grace passed away, with all the fundraising and campaigning that was collectively done with the other Angel Mums to raise funds for the Tessa Jowell Foundation centres of excellence for children. He was very proud of all they have achieved over the years to raise awareness and help provide better care.

It was Terry's families wish that a fundraiser therefore be set up in his memory and Grace's, to continue the fight for better treatments for brain cancer patients of the future.
