In Memory of Terri- for her daughter Erica
UPDATE 6.27.21 - 1:30pm:
Dear friends and family. On behalf of the whole McKean family, we would like to thank everyone who has helped push our fundraising campaign to help Tom and Alice. MORE IMPORTANTLY... THANK YOU for the emotional and mental support you have and continue to provide to Tom, Alice, Terri's daughter Erica and the rest of our family.
We have finally had a moment to breath and take in the aspects that no person wishes to think about. None of us have dealt or fully understood the financial aspects of making final arrangements for a loved one. Terri's brothers and sisters are working together to take as much financial responsibility as possible, off our parents hands so they can focus on the journey they are about to embark upon. With that being said without having to burden anyone with details, we decided collectively to raise our fundraising goal for them and for Erica.
PLEASE we do not want any one to feel obligated to donate and we are forever grateful for what has been received. The biggest message we wish to convey to you all is this....
THANK YOU.
Thank you for your donation.
Thank you for ALL the shares to help spread word to help Terri's parents and daughter.
Our community has come to our aid in so many different ways imagined and we can not express the gratitude we all carry towards each and every person who has and continues to help and be there for all of us.

Early this morning (6.26.21) our beloved family member, Theresa McKean Morcus, passed away suddenly due to ongoing medical complications. Out of respect for her parents and daughter we do ask at this time, if you would like to show support for her family that you DO NOT stop by her parents’ home but instead, if you have a number, feel free to call and check in on them.
A GoFundMe account on behalf of the family has been made to help Terri’s parents with final arrangements. Any remaining finances available will be used towards her daughter Erica as a scholarship fund. Please contact Julie McKean with any questions or if you would like to contribute but do not have access to using GoFundMe.
Terri truly had a heart of gold. Whether you knew her personally or not, she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved her family. She LOVED the Black River Pirate community and whenever she could, you would find her in the stands cheering on whatever sporting or band event that was going on.
If you were around the family personally, you could always count on over hearing and laughing at conversations between her and her brothers who she reminded endlessly about how much she did for them growing up. They of course in response would love to get her riled up with funny childhood stories. Terri was not perfect. She was however aged to perfection and will be loved by all whom she touched and tried to help. If anyone has a good story to share, we, as a whole family, would love to hear about it.
Terri, your daughter, parents, brothers, nieces and nephews, and sister-in-laws ALL LOVE YOU and will never forget the fun quirky gal you were and will always be.
