To all that ever knew my daughter, a sweet, kindhearted, very hard-working business owner/cosmetologist, she loved and cared for everyone that ever knew her. Tanikia loved God with all of her heart and soul. To have known her is to have met someone truly extraordinary. Her famous phrase was “Jesus Loves You” to all that passed her by. About a year and a half ago, my daughter started to experience extreme pain in her leg. She first thought she sprained it. To her surprise, she discovered that she had lost a substantial amount of bone mass. After thorough testing, it was discovered she had Metastatic Breast Cancer which by now had begun to spread throughout her body. Tanikia never gave into sickness, she would always say I’m good, I’m great, always positive. She never believed for one minute that the “Monster of Cancer” was going to take over her life bit by bit. Tanikia worshipped God to the very end.

To all of our family and friends, my daughter leaves behind four daughters, with the youngest four years of age, and one granddaughter. As we all know, this is a tremendous loss.
