In Memory of Tamia Gordon: Family Support Needed
Help Us Honor the Life of Tamia Gordon
On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, our world changed forever. Our baby sister, Tamia Gordon, was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of gun violence. She was only 20 years old.
Tamia was a proud sophomore at Delaware State University, majoring in Business Administration and proudly making the Dean’s List. She was full of life, laughter, and ambition — her dream was to open her own pastry shop one day. She loved to bake, to create, and to make people smile.
That dream, and her bright future, were cut short far too soon.
According to the Delaware State Police, Tamia was fatally shot in her off-campus residence in Magnolia, Delaware after her roommate recklessly handled a loaded firearm. The shooting was ruled manslaughter, and an arrest has been made.
Read the official report here. (https://dsp.delaware.gov/2025/10/01/delaware-state-police-arrest-magnolia-man-for-manslaughter-following-fatal-shooting/)
Tamia was the youngest of seven siblings, the baby of our family, and the heartbeat of our home. Losing her so suddenly has left us broken and struggling to process the pain. She was loving, kind, driven, and full of joy — the type of person who could light up an entire room just by walking in.
We are raising funds to help cover:
• Funeral and memorial expenses
• Support for our family as we navigate this unimaginable loss
Every donation, big or small, helps us celebrate Tamia’s life and give her the sendoff she deserves. If you can’t give financially, please share this story so others can know who Tamia was — a brilliant, loving young woman whose future was taken far too soon.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support during this heartbreaking time.
In loving memory of Tamia Gordon — forever 20, forever our baby.
❤️
