On Friday, January 20 my sister, Sylvia Cruz died suddenly from acute liver failure.

The sudden death of my 30 year old sister has my family and I in shock. We are still attempting to come to terms with the situation and kindly ask for privacy and respect during this time.

A Memorial service and a celebration of my sister’s life are currently being organized. I will announce the days and times in the coming days.

I would like to thank the faculty and staff at Saint Joseph Catholic school for their love and support during this extremely difficult time.

El viernes 20 de enero, mi hermana, Sylvia Cruz, murió repentinamente de insuficiencia hepática aguda.

La repentina muerte de mi hermana de 30 años tiene a mi familia y a mí en shock. Todavía estamos tratando de aceptar la situación y amablemente pedimos privacidad y respeto durante este tiempo.

Actualmente se está organizando un servicio conmemorativo y una celebración de la vida de mi hermana. Anunciaré los días y horas en los próximos días.
