In memory of Sydney Charles Hewlett, my grandad

THE BUTTERFLY HOSPICE TRUST: The Butterfly Hospice Trust is a small, local charity located in the market town of Boston. Our hospice is dedicated to providing 24 hour palliative care and holistic support to the communities we serve in south Lincolnshire.

On 19th March 2022 (fingers crossed it doesn’t rain) I will be walking to Mablethorpe from Market Rasen approx 30 miles to raise money for my grandads hospice. The butterfly hospice looked after grandad right until the day he passed, the care and support they have given, not only to my grandad but my family I will be forever grateful for. This will take me around 10 and a half hours, with no break. Please donate whatever you can to such a close charity (butterfly hospice) to my family’s heart.

On the day, I will give updates and posts to how I’m doing. My aim is to get to Mablethorpe beach, to have a cuppa on the seafront. Grandad lived next to the beach so somewhere close to where he loved also!
