In Memory of Sweet Emmeline “Emme” Jane Vita

We are fundraising for Ashley Keightley and her sweet angel, Emmeline “Emme” Jane Vita who died tragically and unnecessarily while Ashley was out of state visiting friends for the weekend. Emme was only 22.5 months old and Ashley’s only child; she had primary custody and was the most devoted and loving mother to her precious daughter whom, as a single mother, her world revolved around.

Due to the acute trauma and the extensive treatment necessary from the sudden loss of her daughter, Ashley is unable to work at this time. The funds will be used to support her through the grieving process, extensive medical treatment, and financial assistance for Emme’s nanny.

The funds will also go towards establishing a foundation in Emme’s honor, The Emme Jane Foundation, which will provide much needed resources and assistance to other bereaved mothers and families of traumatic child loss. While Emme was born to shine here on Earth and she will be loved and missed dearly, her light will never be dimmed.
