It is hard to believe the loss of our dear friend Svetlana Olifer.
She passed away peacefully on February 19th, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Svetlana left heartwarming memories of her kind and loving nature with all of us. No matter how hard the problem or how large the obstacle appeared to be, she would always find a way to overcome it.
Even after losing her husband Andrey Olifer in 2019 Svetlana continued to work as a full-time tutor at Georgia Gwinnett College and fight the cancer battle of her own. She was a dedicated caregiver to Andrey and always put on a happy face, cheering everyone up, despite her pain and discomfort.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting her daughter Maria who has now lost both of her parents at the age of 20... This GoFundMe will benefit Masha and help her navigate her life as a young adult.
