On August 26, 2026, our beloved Susan Beyer passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Susan was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend whose kindness touched countless lives. As an art teacher at St. Mary's Academy, she inspired generations of students with her creativity, patience, and unwavering belief in every child's potential. Her favorite saying was, "There are no mistakes in art class," a reflection of the encouragement and grace she showed to everyone she met.

Above all else, Susan loved her family. Her greatest joy was being a wife to Bill and a mother to Sophie, Ben, and Braden. She celebrated their achievements, encouraged their dreams, and worked tirelessly to provide them with every opportunity possible.

Susan was a proud graduate of the University of Southern California and believed deeply in the power of education. She often spoke of how transformative her college experience had been and hoped that her children would have similar opportunities to pursue their own goals and ambitions.

As our family navigates the profound loss of Susan, we are establishing the Susan Beyer Memorial Education Fund to help support the college education of Sophie, Ben, and Braden. Contributions to this fund will be used exclusively to help offset educational expenses, including tuition, books, housing, and other college-related costs.

Many friends and family members have asked how they can honor Susan's memory. In lieu of flowers, we invite those who wish to do so to contribute to this fund. Any amount, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and will help continue the legacy that mattered most to Susan: investing in the future of her children.

We are overwhelmed by the love, prayers, support, and kindness that have been shown to our family during this difficult time. Your generosity and encouragement mean more than words can express.
