Subhash Chandra Sharma was born on 13th October 1956 in Nairobi, Kenya, and moved to London with his family at the age of 12. He was the second youngest of 7 children. Husband to Brij for 35 years, father to Gaurav, Neera & Rohan, and beloved grandfather to Ranvir.
Subhash spent the majority of his life in London. He was well educated and a respected accountant working most of his career with the NHS. He retired in 2009 to focus on home and family life. He had a passion for gardening, keeping up with the news and politics from around the world, and most recently looking after his cherished fish tank.
To everyone who knew him he was a kind, gentle, humble and friendly man with an extremely loving and caring nature. Never the loudest in the room, but his presence was always felt and respected, leaving a lasting impression on all those he met and spoke with.
Sadly, Subhash passed away on Tuesday 14th April 2020, aged 63, after battling COVID- 19. This page has been created by his family to continue his legacy by honouring some of the charitable causes that were dear to him:
- Cancer Research UK https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/
- Diabetes UK https://www.diabetes.org.uk/
- British Heart Foundation https://www.bhf.org.uk/
"I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new.
I thought of you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence as I often speak your name.
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part.
God has you in His keeping. I have you in my heart."
Thank you
