In Memory of Steve Scholfield
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart to share of Steve Scholfield's passing from COVID-19. He was an incredible man of our community, employee at the BGOLDN Fresh Food Pantry, and beloved family man.
A special message from Steve's daughter Sarah:
Some words about my dad:
He didn’t know a stranger, he was kind and had the biggest heart, he loved being outdoors hiking, fishing, and playing with his 3 grandkids
One time he was in the drive through at Burger King and saw someone choking through the window, no one was doing anything, so he ran inside and gave the man the Heimlich maneuver.
He was faithfully married to my mom for 47 years!
He worked maintenance at Crown for 33 years
He had coronavirus 1 month before he died. He was healthy and strong, it took him down quickly and brutally. He was on the ventilator for 3 weeks. He died on January 22 surrounded by his family.
He was loved so much!
-----
With his sudden passing, comes many unexpected expenses for his family. We hope that you'll help join us in donating to support his family and memorial.
Thank you so very much.
