In Memory of Stephen Lance

We are sad to share the heartbreaking news of the sudden departure of the beloved husband, father and friend, Stephen Lance, July.31st 2020 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada.
Life was all about family to Steve. Steve was the best husband and dad to Melanie, Cindy (10), and Laura (6). He was devoted to giving his wife and daughters everything. He worked very hard to bring his family from Taiwan to Canada for a better life and education for his kids.
He will always be remembered as being very kind, sensitive, polite and connecting with people. His family would come to him to talk about anything. Even with differences in culture and personalities, he was patient, listened and had strong open communication with his wife, family, and friends. Steve was an amazing dad to his daughters. Cindy and Laura looked up to him; they learned so much from him. His wife will always remember him for making her laugh, their deep conversations, and his wise advice.
As he always wanted, his body will be donated to help others.
Steve's family was a part of the Fukienese Association of Alberta community. His wife taught Mandarin at the Fude Chinese School and his daughters attended dance, choir and language school there. Steve was always present and celebrated Chinese customs with his family. He will be missed.
We want to unite friends and family from the community to help this incredible family. This Go Fund Me page was created in hopes of easing some of the burden incurred to help with funeral expenses, and to support his girls education. Any amount of support is greatly appreciated.
